When work interferes with Riding
Well so much for IDIDARIDE, and the next two weeks of training- however I should be getting quite a workout in the Cascades( at least I think those are the mountains up in Washington, the state) doing some high speed military training! Anyway I will be back in time to tune up for Razorback and am looking forward to that. Rode a lap out at Arrowhead on Sunday that trail is looking good thanks to the Clean-up being done by Eddie and the rest of the volunteers from OMBA. Did a two hour spinner today at about a 140 average HR then had to run 3 miles for PT and decided to finish it off with a two lap sprint out at Thomson - I think I will just stretch out tommorow. The plan is to ride Wendsday night, hopefully hit Arrowhead friday day and participate Saturday morning in the Ronnie Thomson appreciation day so if somewhere in there I happen to run into ya- I'll see ya on the trail.

Back to the Grind again
Well as many people are doing the same thing as I am today-returning to work, I am moved to express the new license plate holder my wife got me for Christmas- "Work Sucks, I'm going Mountain Bike Riding!" Ah well it was a good two weeks off and as always I will see ya on the trail.

Starting the New Year with a BANG!
Well at least thats what I thought it sounded like when the rear tire went, guess 55lbs on some worn out STAN's tubeless was to much. Anyway after a quick repair (thanks for the tube Bill I will square that away with you this week) I enjoyed a easy paced 23 mile road ride on the Rocky, however being the true Mountain Biker I am I couldn't leave it at that so I headed out to Thomson and managed to squeeze in a lap right before the rain let loose. Probably better that I went with the moderate group for a road ride on a full suspension mountain bike I don't think I would have managed well against the roadies! It was a good start to the year and possibly a motivator to actually get out there and ride a road bike - but don't hold your breath! not to mention the fact that I kept getting passed by the tandum bikers talk about your downhill momentum there! Well I am looking forward to getting some training in before IDIDARIDE and training with teamates for Razorback. As always- See ya on the trail
